งานประกาศผลรางวัล British Academy Film and Television Awards 2008 (BAFTA 2008) ได้ประกาศออกมาแล้ว โดย Slumdog Millionaire (อีกแล้ว) คว้าไปถึง 7 รางวัล ได้แก่ Best Picture, Best Director, Cinematography, Adapted Screenplay, Editing, Music, และ Sound

ส่วน The Curious Case of Benjamin Button คว้าไปได้ 3 รางวัล ได้แก่ Make-Up and Hair, Production Design, และ Special Visual Effects

ส่วน Leading Actor ตกเป็นของ Mickey Rourke จาก The Wrestler และ Leading Actress ตกเป็นของ Kate Winslet จาก The Reader

Wall-E ชนะใจคณะกรรมการทำให้คว้า Best Animation ได้สำเร็จ
